Join us for our October get together with Tolkien fans from all around Australia. The Zoom details are below and everyone is welcome to pop by.
We'll spend a little time getting to know each other and about our latest adventures in Middle-earth. You maybe even have a new mathom you can share with us.
Then we will have a talk on 'Tolkien and his bicycle' - delving into Tolkien's life - did you know he rode a bicycle? That he had a car then got rid of it. That as a child he rode steam trams and trains? This and other interesting tidbits about the Professor.
We will also be learning about the process of creating a costume inspired by Thuringwethil, the vampire messenger of Sauron, covering original concept art, physical costume, makeup and hair progress.
We'll also learn more about the Ozmoot 2025 Conference in Melbourne in January, and other events we can join.
