There’ll be much to celebrate as we reminisce about our recent fellowship and learning at OzMoot2024, sharing this with others and welcoming new members.
There will be a quick opportunity to hear about your recent travels through the perilous realm, what Middle-earth writings, vision of gaming you have been delving into, and what has been keeping you busy as the year commences.
We will then have a presentation: ‘Tolkien the Linguist’
This week, we'll learn all about Tolkien’s languages, especially how the languages of men and elves evolved both in real life and in Middle-Earth. Additionally, we'll discuss Tolkien's study of real-world linguistics, highlighting the role his studies played in shaping these languages.
