Ozmoot 2026 is no more, but that means we are back to our regular monthly catch-ups where friends can meet, share their latest adventures in Middle-earth, listen to an interesting presentation and join great discussion.
At our February meeting we'll take some time to welcome new people to our fellowship and recap the best of Ozmoot.
We will also learn more about what is being organised for Kiwimoot 2027 in Wellington NZ.
Then we will enjoy a talk that takes us off to the far lands of Italia: Carandini; the Noble Family (and how they connect to Tolkien).
We will follow this Italian noble family from its rise through the medieval Holy Roman Empire to the journey of one of its members to Australia after the Napoleonic wars. How does the family line compare to the line of Isildur, and whatever happened to its Aragorn?
