Join with Hern Ennorath, a friendly bunch of Middle-earth travellers, for our next online meeting.

We also enjoy catching up on our Middle-earth adventures of the past month, new mathoms, interesting news and upcoming events in the world of Tolkien.

This month we will have a presentation on an intriguing question about elves. The physical appearance of Tolkien's elves is the subject of much speculation in the fan community. Except for sparse information about hair and eye colour, very little information is given in the texts themselves, leaving many details open to speculation. This presentation offers a 'scientific' theory of Elvish skin colours, free from the cultural baggage of modern society.

How to join the online meeting

Signum University is a great supporter of Hern Ennorath and our annual Ozmoots and Kiwimoots. We are delighted that Signum University is supporting us with access to Zoom for our online meeting. You need to register to attend the meeting but it is free.

The meeting times are:

What is Signum Fellowship?

• Signum has created a platform for organisations and individual creators to build online communities.

• The university has set us up an online space to set up memberships and Zoom meetings.

How does it work?

• You sign up, log in, follow our page, and you'll get an automatic email notification every time we set up a zoom meeting. Simples!

Okay. What do I do?

1. You'll need to log in. To do this, use your credentials for your Signum University Blackberry account, or sign up for one. If you've attended Ozmoot previously or have registered for Kiwimoot or other Signum supported events, this is the same login you've used for that.

2. Signing up for Blackberry (this is the name of a rabbit, not an early mobile device). Go to https://blackberry.signumuniversity.org/ and Sign Up. Signing up to Signum is free. You don’t need to buy anything or sign up for any courses – you just need an account.

3. Then go to https://hernennorath.signumfellowship.org/orgs/hernennorath/ and use your Blackberry logon details to sign into the Signum Fellowship page.

4. Once you're logged in, you'll see a list of organisations Signum is partnering with. Scroll down to Hern Ennorath, click "follow."

5. This will take you through to our landing page. You'll need to register for our next meeting if you want to join. Go to Monthly Meetings...

6. Here you'll find the details of our next meeting with a button to register. Hit that register button, and you should be good to go!

Joining the meeting

On Thursday evening login again to the Signum Fellowship. Navigate to the Hern Ennorath Monthly Meetings > Next Meeting tab. Click on "Join meeting" and follow the Zoom prompts.
